Meet Jessica
Jessica is a Licensed Veterinary Technician of 11 years with over 15 years of hands-on experience in the veterinary field. Throughout her career, she has worked in general practice, emergency medicine, and surgery —building a well-rounded skill set and a calm, confident approach to patient care.
Now part of the team at Hand to Paw Veterinary Services, Jessica brings her expertise directly into clients’ homes, helping pets feel safe and comfortable in a familiar environment. She is passionate about delivering compassionate, low-stress care and loves the opportunity to build deeper connections with both pets and their families through in-home visits.
Jessica has had a lifelong love for animals, especially cats. She grew up in Amityville, New York, and shares her home with four beloved cats—Ellie, Cricket, Mamba, and Thumbelina—as well as one guinea pig. Her special interest in feline care allows her to connect naturally with even the most sensitive or shy patients.
Jessica and Dr. Twarowski have worked together for over seven years, and she is proud to be part of Dr. Twarowski’s commitment to gold-standard medicine that also provides thoughtful, skilled care that treats every pet like family.
Meet Brianna
Brianna is a Long Island native and has been a Licensed Veterinary Technician since 2018. If there’s one thing she has learned, it’s that a wagging tail is much easier to find in a living room than a waiting room.
She has had the pleasure of working alongside Dr. Twarowski since 2020, and their shared vision for stress-free, compassionate care is what drives their practice every day.
As a proud dog mom to three pups of her own, Brianna understands exactly how much pets mean to their families. She treats every patient with the same patience, expertise, and love that she gives her own pack at home
Meet Kristin
Kristin is a licensed veterinary technician, who grew up on Long Island, where her passion for animal care first took root. She began her career in 2001 at 15 years of age as a kennel assistant, gaining hands-on experience and a deep appreciation for the dedication required in veterinary medicine. In 2010, she earned her veterinary technician license, and has devoted decades to continuing education acquiring extensive knowledge in animal wellness, surgical procedures, and multimodal approaches, including physical therapy and the benefits of Eastern medicine.
Throughout her 25 year career, she has collaborated closely with many of Long Island’s most skilled and knowledgeable veterinarians in both general practice and specialty facilities, allowing her to develop a well-rounded and advanced clinical expertise. For the past two years, she has served as the Lead Technician at a 24-hour, seven-doctor practice, where she has taken on leadership responsibilities while maintaining a high standard of patient care.
Kristin has been honored to work alongside Dr. Twarowski at multiple facilities since 2017 and shares in her dream to bring high-quality and thorough care to the pets of Long Island where they feel most comfortable and at ease. Known for her compassionate and gentle approach, she is excited to bring her skills, experience, and hospital standard medicine directly to your home.
In her personal time, Kristin has devoted herself to rescuing abandoned, sick, and elderly animals, offering them a second chance at comfort and care. She finds great fulfillment in enriching their lives, making sure they experience love, security, and joy. Whether taking them on road trips, camping adventures, or even kayaking outings, she is committed to giving these animals meaningful experiences and a sense of companionship in their later years.
